We are an essential service so will be staying open 7 days, with normal hours.
Deliveries arriving daily so no need to stock up.
There need to be a few things to consider please:
– 2m physical distancing rule
– we are limiting numbers in the store at any one time. Please only 1 person per household in store shopping
– we have paywave so please try to use this whenever possible
We are looking at doing deliveries to those self isolating and those in need, we are working out the logistics at the moment so stay tuned for more details.
The team are working hard to get everything out to you when we can. Please continue to remain calm and consider everyone in the community

**Update 27-3-2020 – Delivery now available to vulnerable people***
Delivery to 70+ and those with compromised immune systems
We are starting our delivery service for those considered high risk (eg. 70years +, Immune compromised etc.). There is no extra charge for this service as we recognise the importance of self-isolating during this time.
There are two payment options available depending if you are in strict no contact (internet banking) or can use a mobile EFTPOS machine we bring during delivery (2m distancing observed + sanitised after each use).
We cannot stress enough this is to be used for those that are unable to make it to the store or don’t have someone in the community that can get to the store and get the items for you. This is something we are new at and will be added to the team’s work load so please bear with us.
Managed customer numbers in store
Stores will be limiting the number of shoppers in-store at any one time. This is incredibly important to ensure you can move freely around to get your grocery essentials and maintain a safe physical distance away from others.
Reduced number of staff on shop floor
Stores may reduce the number of employees working on the shop floor at any one time. This is to maintain the recommended 2 metre physical distance between individuals. Please respect the appropriate physical distance recommendation as per the Ministry of Health’s guidelines.
Pack your own bags
We’re now requesting that you please pack your own bags, as one of our staff protection measures, but do ask for assistance if this is not possible.
We’d like to help you get through your shopping as safely and quickly as possible – for a full list of all current adjustments to Four Square stores, please visit our website.
And please remember to:
Nominate a family member to shop
We’re asking you to please shop alone. This is to ensure we can keep the number of people in-store at any one time to a minimum.
#shopnormal
Please shop like you normally would and remember there is no need to stockpile. Please only buy what you need and be fair to others who may not have the budget or transportation to stock up. There is enough supply in New Zealand – when products are out of stock on the shelves, it only means there are more on the way to keep up with the sudden increase in purchases.
Be kind
With everything that’s going on in the world it’s important that we continue to be kind and considerate towards other shoppers, staff and one another. Together, we can nail this. Remember, we’ll remain open – Four Square is a core essential service and we are fully dedicated to supporting New Zealand through this.
